ThermaSol steam showers run $8,360 to $13,985, median $11,882.50. All twelve are steam shower systems rather than sauna cabins, which is a different installation and a different trade.
What you are actually buying
A steam shower is a generator, a control and a head plumbed into an existing enclosure. It is not a freestanding unit you place in a room. That means a sealed enclosure, a drain, a water supply and a dedicated circuit run to the generator — work that belongs to a plumber and an electrician, not to a delivery crew.
Steam is not sauna
A steam room runs near 110 to 120°F at continuous full humidity. A traditional sauna runs to 195°F dry, with humidity in bursts. If you want heat, the sauna is the product; if you want humidity, this is. They are not interchangeable and the installation cost is not comparable.
Delivery and installation
Free shipping to the lower 48, no minimum, and it stops at the curb — the crate is left at the end of your driveway. Getting it inside is a $600 white-glove upgrade. Getting it inside and assembled is $1,800, which covers everything except electrical work: we recommend you hire a local electrician for that, because the wiring has to meet your local code and pass local inspection. Service fees are non-refundable: if the sauna goes back, the installation does not.
