Sizing
Match kW output to the room's internal volume, not to your preference or the number of people. Undersized never reaches temperature; oversized cycles hard and wastes power. Get the cubic footage of the cabin first — it is the only number that decides this, and it is the one most often skipped.
Fuel and supply
The range spans electric and gas, and the choice usually decides more about installation cost than the heater price does. Three of the ten name a 240V supply explicitly; confirm the electrical requirement against the specific model rather than assuming it from the price. A gas unit needs a flue and clearances instead of a circuit, which is a different trade and a different quote.
Delivery
A heater is a two-person lift. Free shipping to the lower 48, no minimum, and it stops at the curb — the crate is left at the end of your driveway. Getting it inside is a $600 white-glove upgrade. Getting it inside and assembled is $1,800, which covers everything except electrical work: we recommend you hire a local electrician for that, because the wiring has to meet your local code and pass local inspection. Scandia ships on a 14 business day window. Service fees are non-refundable: if the sauna goes back, the installation does not.
