Editorial Guidelines

At InHouse Wellness, we publish across four topic-focused blogs and a Research Dump where we share deeper research notes, comparisons, and working analyses. This page explains how our content is created, how we handle potential bias (including when products are involved), and what our information is—and isn’t—intended to do.

Our editorial mission

We aim to publish wellness content that is:

  • Evidence-aware and grounded in reputable sources when available

  • Clear, practical, and easy to understand

  • Transparent about uncertainty, tradeoffs, and limitations

  • Consistent in how we evaluate products and claims

How we create content: AI-supported, human-reviewed

We use multiple AI tools across research, analysis, outlining, and drafting—paired with human editorial oversight throughout the process.

Why we use AI

AI is exceptionally good at:

  • scanning and synthesizing large volumes of information quickly

  • comparing multiple viewpoints consistently

  • organizing complex topics into clear structures

  • reducing personal bias in how information is presented

This matters because wellness content can easily become overly subjective—especially when products are involved. Our workflow is designed to keep content driven by criteria and evidence, not by a writer’s preferences.

Where humans are essential

Human input and review are included across all steps to:

  • set editorial direction and relevance

  • ensure clarity, context, and tone

  • flag overconfidence, missing nuance, or unclear claims

  • check that conclusions are presented responsibly

  • ensure disclosures are made where appropriate

Independence and commercial considerations

InHouse Wellness may sell, feature, or link to products discussed on this site. We believe credibility requires being direct about that reality.

Our editorial standard is simple:

We do not adjust conclusions to serve commercial goals.
If the evidence is mixed, we’ll say so. If a “best choice” depends on the person, we’ll explain what it depends on. If a product has meaningful drawbacks, we include them.

We use structured evaluation criteria so products are assessed consistently—rather than being described in whatever way sounds most persuasive.

Research standards and sourcing

We prioritize reputable sources and prefer original or primary material when possible, such as:

  • peer-reviewed research (when applicable)

  • guidance from established medical/health organizations

  • manufacturer documentation for specifications and usage

  • safety notes and common user considerations

Not every topic has perfect data. When evidence is limited, we aim to make that limitation obvious rather than implying certainty.

Accuracy, updates, and corrections

We update content when:

  • new evidence materially changes conclusions

  • guidelines or best practices change

  • products or claims change (ingredients, specs, availability, etc.)

  • we discover an error or unclear wording

If you spot something that appears inaccurate or misleading, please contact us and include the page URL and the specific section.

The Research Dump: what it is (and what it isn’t)

Our Research Dump is intended as a transparency-forward space for deeper work. It may include:

  • working summaries and early-stage synthesis

  • raw comparisons and exploratory notes

  • frequent revisions and updates

It is often high-quality, but it may be less polished than finalized editorial articles.

Disclosure: affiliate links and monetization

Some pages may include affiliate links or revenue-generating references. When that’s the case, we aim to disclose it clearly. Monetization does not change our evaluation criteria or our conclusions.

Important disclaimer

All content on InHouse Wellness is for informational and educational purposes only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

  • Always consult a qualified professional for medical concerns.

  • Never disregard professional advice because of something you read here.

  • If you believe you may have a medical emergency, contact emergency services immediately.

Responsibility and reliance

We work hard to produce accurate, responsible content, but we make no warranties regarding completeness, accuracy, or suitability for any particular purpose. Use of this site—and reliance on any information—is at your own risk.

Because AI is used within our workflow, it’s also important to understand: AI-assisted content can contain errors. Human review reduces this risk, but it does not eliminate it.
