What "curbside" actually means
Free shipping covers the lower 48 with no minimum, and it ends at the end of your driveway. The freight carrier brings a crate to the kerb on a lift gate and leaves it there. A sauna crate is heavy and awkward and most are a two- or three-person lift. Nobody carries it up your drive, through a door, or down to a basement unless you have bought one of the two services below.
White glove, $600 — inside and placed
The crate comes into the house and the unit is placed in the room you want it, including upstairs, downstairs or across the house. Floors and doorways are protected on the way. It arrives in its packaging and it is not assembled: unboxing and build are yours.
Premium installation, $1,800 — inside, unboxed and assembled
Everything white glove covers, plus the installers unbox the unit and fully assemble it. That is the whole price for the whole job — there is no separate assembly labour bill afterwards.
Electrical work is the one thing it does not include, and that is deliberate. Sauna wiring has to meet your local electrical code and pass local inspection, so we recommend you hire a licensed electrician in your own area rather than have us send someone who may not be certified where you live. Typical local rates run $75 to $150 an hour. Anything beyond these two packages — custom carpentry, moving an existing unit, work on the room itself — is quoted hourly.
Before you book either
Clear the route and the space before delivery day, and confirm your electrical supply matches what the sauna needs. Scheduling usually adds a few business days after the unit arrives, because a local crew has to be arranged. Service fees are non-refundable once work begins, and cancellations need at least five days' notice — if the sauna itself goes back, the installation fee does not come with it.
