Seven sauna chimney kits and extensions, $708 to $1,518, median $1,004, all from Dundalk LeisureCraft. If you have bought a wood-burning sauna, this is the part that is easy to forget and not optional.
Which one you need depends on the exit
A chimney either goes straight up through the roof or out through the back wall with an elbow, and the kits are not interchangeable. Some include a water tank that uses waste flue heat, which is useful and adds height and weight. Decide the exit route before you order, because the kit follows the building, not the stove.
Clearances are the real constraint
Flue runs have required clearances to combustible material, set by your local code and the stove's certification. Those clearances, not the kit price, are what decide whether a route works. If you are fitting to a Dundalk LeisureCraft sauna or a Scandia cabin, check the stove's specification against the wall or roof you are cutting.
Delivery
Chimney sections are long rather than heavy and ship parcel or light freight depending on length. Cutting a roof or wall penetration is a trade job. Free shipping to the lower 48, no minimum, curbside. White-glove delivery is $600 and full installation $1,800; both are non-refundable once work begins.
