What HUUM Covers

HUUM’s limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use during the applicable warranty period.

Requirements for Warranty Coverage (Key Points)

• Inspect promptly upon receipt and report any shipping/delivery damage within 7 days (or the authorized dealer’s shorter timeframe, if applicable).
• Products must be installed, connected, operated, and maintained according to HUUM manuals and all applicable local/national building, electrical, and fire-safety codes.
• Electrical products must be installed/connected by a licensed electrician, and proof may be required.
• The installed set must be complete as defined in HUUM documentation.
• The purchase price must be fully paid by the end-user.

How to File a Warranty Claim

• Notify HUUM without delay and no later than 30 days from discovering the defect or damage.
• If a visible defect/damage is discovered after delivery, submit the claim (with photos) before installation.
• Be prepared to provide:
• Product name/model and serial/batch/product number (when available)
• Description of the issue and photos (if possible)
• Description of the environment and conditions where the product was used
• Proof of purchase (invoice/receipt)
• Claims must be submitted within the warranty period.

What’s Not Covered (Common Exclusions)

The limited warranty does not cover defects/damage not caused by HUUM, including:

• Heating elements of electric heaters
• HUUM accessories
• Wood-burning stove door glass and ash grate
• Sauna stones (all heaters)
• Sensors for controllers
• Normal wear and cosmetic defects
• Damage from insufficient ventilation, constant humidity, corrosion/sooting/discoloration, or unsuitable storage/installation location
• Transportation/storage damage (including incorrect storage conditions)
• Failure to follow installation, use, or maintenance instructions
• Incorrectly sized/unsuitable product selection for the application
• Accidents, power surges, extreme weather, fires, earthquakes, or other “acts of God”
• Unauthorized repairs/modifications, non-original parts, or incompatible products
• Regular maintenance, cleaning, and periodic check-ups
