Finnmark SoulCold™ 180-Gallon Cold/Hot Plunge

Finnmark SoulCold™ 1-person cold/hot plunge combines a 180-gallon 304 stainless steel tub, 34°F–108°F temperature control, and integrated 4.45 kW cooling and 4.36 kW heating in one freestanding immersion system. Designed for full-body, one-person use, it supports cold plunging, warm soaking, and alternating-temperature routines without requiring separate tubs.

The wide temperature range makes the SoulCold suitable for post-training recovery, cold-water immersion, warm relaxation, and use alongside a traditional or infrared sauna. Users can select a target temperature and maintain consistent water conditions for a more repeatable wellness routine.

Temperature settings are managed through an integrated LCD touchscreen or a compatible Wi-Fi smartphone app. The controls allow users to check operating status, adjust the target water temperature, view fault information, lock the screen, and manage display settings.

Wi-Fi control is compatible with iOS and Android devices and requires a 2.4 GHz wireless network. This connected control system allows the plunge temperature to be adjusted before a planned session, helping the water reach the preferred setting before use.

The temperature-management system provides 4.45 kW of cooling capacity and 4.36 kW of heating capacity. A built-in 88-watt DC circulation pump moves water through the external filtration system, while the R410A refrigeration system supports an adjustable water temperature range from 34°F to 108°F.

For proper operation, the verified ambient temperature range is 59°F–109°F during cooling and 59°F–95°F during heating. Installation conditions should be considered carefully to help maintain airflow, temperature performance, and equipment reliability.

The interior bathing area measures 48 inches long, 31 inches wide, and 28 inches deep, providing space for comfortable, full-body immersion. The complete exterior measures 79.75 inches long, 35 inches wide, and 30 inches high, creating a substantial freestanding footprint for a dedicated wellness or recovery area.

The SoulCold weighs 460 pounds when empty and approximately 1,650 pounds when filled. It must be installed on a flat, level, structurally adequate surface with suitable drainage access. Elevated decks, balconies, and platforms should be evaluated for load capacity before installation.

The tub and surround are constructed from 304 stainless steel, providing a durable, nonporous surface for routine cleaning and water care. Stainless steel also supports corrosion resistance and temperature retention during hot and cold immersion sessions.

Natural Canadian cedar exterior slats add warmth to the cabinet design, while preinstalled Canadian cedar backrests provide supported seating during immersion. Because cedar is a natural material, tannins may initially create a harmless amber tint in the water. Included carbon filtration is intended to help manage these naturally released tannins.

An integrated ozone generator and external filtration system support ongoing water maintenance. The system includes a 5-inch filter assembly, 20-micron filtration, a secondary filter screen, and carbon filters.

The external service layout keeps filtration components accessible for inspection, cleaning, and replacement. Filters should be checked regularly, and proper circulation should be maintained according to the operating instructions to support water flow and system performance.

Integrated LED mood lighting adds adjustable illumination around the plunge and is operated with the included remote. The lighting allows the bathing environment to be customized for recovery, relaxation, or evening use.

A marine-grade insulated vinyl cover is included to help retain the selected water temperature and protect the bathing area when the plunge is not in use. Using the cover can reduce exposure to debris and support more consistent hot or cold water conditions between sessions.

The unit also includes moving wheels, a carry handle, and quick connectors to assist with initial positioning and service access. The plunge must remain upright and should not be moved while it is operating or filled with water.

The SoulCold connects to 110–120V, 60Hz electrical service and has a maximum input requirement of 1,650 watts at 15 amps. A supplied GFCI power cord and NEMA 5-15P plug connect to a grounded, code-compliant 15-amp household outlet.

The chiller requires 20 inches of unobstructed clearance on every side to maintain proper airflow. It should not be installed inside a recessed enclosure, directly against a wall, or in any location where air intake and exhaust may be restricted.

The SoulCold supports indoor and protected outdoor placement. Outdoor installations require shade and protection for the touchscreen, plug, and electrical components from direct sunlight, rain, and persistent damp conditions.

The system should also be protected or relocated during freezing weather. Proper drainage, ventilation, electrical protection, and structural support must be considered before choosing a permanent installation location.

The package includes the SoulCold plunge, integrated chiller and heater, insulated cover, 5-inch filter assembly, filters, carbon filters, secondary filter screen, main filter wrench, secondary filter wrench, LED remote, two water hoses, and installation and operation manual.

A two-year warranty is included. Additional three-year and six-year warranty options are also stated as available.
