Assembled this solo (partner was traveling) and while possible it took about 2 hours and required some creative problem-solving for the roof panel. Two people is definitely easier. That said, the sauna itself is excellent - low EMF, 2-person hemlock, solid Dynamic carbon panel heat. A slight assembly inconvenience doesn't affect the quality of the product.

Coming from a cheap ceramic rod sauna, the Dynamic carbon panel heat in the Serena is a completely different experience. Softer, more even, deeper tissue penetration. And the low EMF is a fraction of what my old ceramic unit produced. The hemlock construction is also considerably better than budget sauna wood. Real upgrade at a reasonable price.

Sometimes products disappoint vs the listing. The Serena DYN-6229-01 is exactly what was described. Low EMF carbon panels, hemlock construction, Bluetooth, chromotherapy. Assembly was smooth. Heat quality is what I expected. No hidden issues, no missing pieces, no unpleasant surprises. Straightforward quality product at a fair price.

Set up the Serena in my home gym corner next to the weights. 25 min post-workout sessions in the low EMF Dynamic carbon panel heat have been a consistent addition to my training recovery. The 2-person size gives me room to stretch inside. The hemlock has held up fine despite being in a space that gets some humidity from sweating during workouts.

For apartments and older homes where adding a dedicated 20amp circuit is a hassle, the Serena's 15amp compatibility is a huge practical advantage. Just plugged it into my existing dedicated bedroom outlet and it works flawlessly. Low EMF carbon panel heat, 2-person hemlock, all the features. The 15amp plug-in flexibility makes this accessible to a lot more homes.

Wasn't sure if chromotherapy would make a real difference or just be a gimmick. After 4 months of use I'm convinced it adds something real. The blue setting is genuinely calming, the warm amber is energizing, the red light has visible skin benefits over time. The Serena's 9-color system works smoothly and the colors are vibrant enough to actually affect the mood.

As a solo user the 2-person Serena gives me room to stretch and move inside. I do a 10 min stretch at 110F then increase to 120F for 25 min. The bench heater means my legs get the full low EMF treatment too. At $2,299 the Serena is an excellent value for what you get. Dynamic Saunas quality is solid.

The standard Serena at $2,299 is a fair price for what you get. Low EMF carbon panels (5-10mg range at 2 inches - I tested), solid hemlock, working Bluetooth, chromotherapy. It's not ultra low EMF but for most use cases low EMF is more than adequate. The heat quality is genuine and the construction is holding up well at 4 months of heavy use.

Osteoarthritis in both knees for 5 years. Got the Serena based on my doctor's suggestion to try infrared heat therapy. Three months of daily 30 min sessions at 118F and my morning stiffness is noticeably reduced. The low EMF carbon panel heat gets deep into the joints differently from any external heat source I've tried. Really meaningful quality of life improvement.

House is about 1,100 sq ft and finding sauna space was the challenge. The Serena 2-person fits in the corner of our spare room without making it feel like a sauna room. Looks fine, heats up fast, low EMF for daily use. Dynamic Saunas built a sensibly sized product that works in real homes with real space constraints.

My 16-year-old swimmer uses the Serena after long practice sessions. Low EMF was important for regular use with a teenager. The 20-25 min sessions at 115F have noticeably helped her recovery between training sessions. Her coach has asked what she's doing differently. Dynamic carbon panel heat plus hemlock construction - simple and effective.
C
Never owned a sauna before. The Serena 2-person low EMF was the right first purchase - manageable price, manageable size, manageable setup (15amp plug-in, no special electrical). The Dynamic carbon panels heat up to 120F in about 20 minutes. Chromotherapy adds a nice atmosphere. Started at 110F and worked up. Great introduction to infrared sauna.
D
Tried everything for my chronic sleep problems. Melatonin, sleep restriction therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy. Nothing worked as well as 30 min of low EMF infrared before bed. The core temp drop after the session seems to be the key. The Serena 2-person at $2,299 was the accessible entry point that let me test this approach. It worked better than everything else combined.
G
At $2,299 the Serena DYN-6229-01 is one of the best entry-level infrared saunas on the market. Low EMF carbon panels, solid hemlock, 2-person capacity, Bluetooth. It does everything the basics require at a price that makes ownership accessible. Used it 5x a week for 3 months and no complaints at all.
F
Went with the Serena over more expensive options after careful research. Turns out low EMF carbon panel heat at $2,299 in a 2-person hemlock Dynamic sauna is all you actually need for the health benefits. The more expensive models have better EMF specs but if you're not doing multiple hours of daily use the low EMF range is fine. Smart practical choice.
