Last updated 2026-10-07
Pick a sauna from the InHouse Wellness Verified Sauna Database to see what its manufacturer states about the electrical circuit, in the manufacturer's own words, or enter a heater's power and voltage yourself. A second mode sizes a heater for your room against each manufacturer's own chart.
The interactive tool needs JavaScript. The same information is on these pages:
- What Size Breaker Does a 6 kW Sauna Heater Need?
- What Size Breaker Does an 8 kW Sauna Heater Need?
- Does an Infrared Sauna Need a Dedicated Circuit?
- How the Sauna Electrical Tool Works
- InHouse Wellness Verified Sauna Database (every model page lists its electrical requirements)
Local electrical codes vary. The manufacturer's installation manual and your local code govern, and a licensed electrician sizes and installs the circuit.
