Maxxus Saunas

Maxxus runs a median of $4,299 against Golden Designs at $7,999. On the features you can actually count, the two brands are closer than that gap suggests.

Where the money does not go

Chromotherapy lighting is on all 28 Maxxus cabins and 21 of 32 Golden Designs. Red light panels: 14 of 28 against 12 of 32. Bluetooth is level, 24 of 28 against 28 of 32. Full spectrum is the one place Golden Designs leads, 9 of its 32 against 6 of 28 here — 28% against 21%, which is a real difference and a narrow one.

Where it does

Range, not specification. Golden Designs reaches $18,999; Maxxus stops at $7,999. The money buys larger cabins, outdoor builds and hybrid units pairing infrared panels with a stove — none of which Maxxus makes. If you want a two or three person indoor infrared cabin, the feature counts above say you are paying for the badge. If you want an outdoor build, Maxxus does not have one.

The 28 here

$2,299 to $7,999. Seven name Canadian red cedar in the title and ten Canadian Hemlock; the rest describe the wood only in the listing body, so confirm it before ordering. Free shipping to the lower 48, no minimum, and it stops at the curb — the crate is left at the end of your driveway. Getting it inside is a $600 white-glove upgrade. Getting it inside and assembled is $1,800, which covers everything except electrical work: we recommend you hire a local electrician for that, because the wiring has to meet your local code and pass local inspection. Maxxus ships on a 10 business day window. Service fees are non-refundable: if the sauna goes back, the installation does not.
