Saunas from $1,999, infrared and traditional, on one page. The spread is the point: the same collection holds a two-person infrared cabin you plug into a wall socket and an eight-person Finnish outdoor build with a flue, and almost nothing about choosing between them is the same decision.

Infrared or traditional

Infrared cabins run cooler, around 120 to 140°F, and most plug into a standard outlet. Traditional rooms are electric or wood-fired, reach up to 195°F, and generally need a dedicated 240V circuit or a flue and a clearance to combustibles. That difference decides your install cost before it decides anything else.

Ten brands are represented here. Maxxus, Golden Designs and Dynamic Saunas supply most of the infrared range; Scandia, Dundalk Leisurecraft and SaunaLife supply most of the traditional one.

Sizing and materials

Most units state a capacity and the range runs one to eight people. Hemlock and cedar are the common woods, with a little spruce and thermo-treated timber at the outdoor end.

Two thirds of the range lists chromotherapy and Bluetooth, so treat both as common rather than as features worth a premium. Under a third publishes a maximum temperature, which is the number you would actually want.

Delivery

Free shipping to the lower 48, no minimum, and it stops at the curb — the crate is left at the end of your driveway. Getting it inside is a $600 white-glove upgrade. Getting it inside and assembled is $1,800, which covers everything except electrical work: we recommend you hire a local electrician for that, because the wiring has to meet your local code and pass local inspection. Service fees are non-refundable: if the sauna goes back, the installation does not.
