Red light therapy panels, from $850. These are standalone panels rather than saunas: they mount on a wall or a stand and emit visible red and near infrared light, and they do not heat a room.
These publish a wavelength. The saunas do not.
Wavelength in nanometres is the specification that decides what a red light device does, and most of the panels here publish one. Not one of the red light equipped saunas in our catalogue does — not a single cabin, at any price.
That is the reason to buy a panel rather than a cabin with a panel in it, if the light is what you are after: you can check what you are getting. Ask for the irradiance too, because nobody publishes that.
How this differs from a sauna
A panel delivers light without heat. An infrared sauna delivers heat, and some models fit red light panels as an extra. If you want both in one cabin, look at saunas with red light therapy instead.
Delivery
Free shipping to the lower 48, no minimum, and it stops at the curb — the crate is left at the end of your driveway. Getting it inside is a $600 white-glove upgrade. Getting it inside and assembled is $1,800, which covers everything except electrical work: we recommend you hire a local electrician for that, because the wiring has to meet your local code and pass local inspection. Service fees are non-refundable: if the sauna goes back, the installation does not.
