Golden Designs builds indoor cabins, outdoor cabins and hybrids under one roof, and also owns the Dynamic and Maxxus lines we stock separately. From $3,999.
What separates the ranges
The infrared cabins run cooler and many plug into a standard outlet. The hybrids pair infrared panels with a traditional stove so the same room reaches Finnish temperatures, and they need a dedicated 240V circuit. Around four in ten of these listings name a 120V supply and around half name 240V, which is the clearest signal of which kind of build you are looking at before you read anything else.
Before you order
Almost every unit states a capacity, from one to eight people. Around half publish a maximum temperature, and across the range those run from 118°F for a far infrared cabin to 195°F for a stove-heated room. Cedar appears more often than hemlock here, but only some listings name the species in the title.
The related ranges are Dynamic Saunas and Maxxus.
Delivery
Free shipping to the lower 48, no minimum, and it stops at the curb — the crate is left at the end of your driveway. Getting it inside is a $600 white-glove upgrade. Getting it inside and assembled is $1,800, which covers everything except electrical work: we recommend you hire a local electrician for that, because the wiring has to meet your local code and pass local inspection. Service fees are non-refundable: if the sauna goes back, the installation does not.
